Mitate (見立て) is an old Japanese habit of seeing one thing as another. In a Kyoto rock garden, raked gravel represents the sea. In a tea room, a fisherman’s basket is used as a flower vase.
Our company is named after this idea. On this page our seven locations are drawn as stations on one loop line. A network and a railway have a lot in common. Each works best when it runs on schedule, in both directions, around the clock.
All four services are available at every station, separately or together.
Bring your own hardware. We provide rack space, power, cooling and cross-connects to the carriers in the building. Remote hands can swap a disk or reseat a cable, and you can follow the work in the ticket.
Dedicated servers and virtual machines on our hardware, with full root access. We replace failed disks and fans and keep the firmware up to date.
IP transit over BGP, IPv4 and IPv6, on ports sized to your traffic. We can also connect any two of our cities with a private link. We choose our upstream carriers carefully.
DDoS filtering for a single server or a whole network. We also do security consulting, including architecture reviews, hardening and help during an incident.
Every station offers colocation, hosting and IP transit, and our security services cover all of them. The line runs west from Dubai, the way the sun moves, and closes the loop over the Pacific.
